Book your custom and personalized tour(s) for one to 10 people in Mid-Coast Maine based on your schedule and desires for scenery and location. Our eco-nature tours can be as short as 3 hours and as long as overnight. Sea kayak, canoe, Stand Up Paddleboard, hike the mid-coast area of Maine, go on a sea kayak or a car trip to see lighthouses, or go snowshoeing in the winter. Paddle on inland flat water rivers, lakes, tidal rivers, Merrymeeting Bay, or along Casco Bay shores. If you want to explore an island that has some of the saddest history, book a sea kayaking tour to uninhabited Malaga Island that the locals don't want to talk about. Master Maine Guide, Alice will lead your custom tour.

You can be sure that the canoeing, sea kayaking, and SUP tours include basic skill instruction before departure with a safety orientation. You will be provided all needed equipment but it is expected that you wear clothing appropriate to the weather and bring at least a 1 liter water bottle. Private instructional lessons for canoeing, sea kayaking, and SUP may be scheduled. Our snowshoeing tours will include looking for tracks and winter wildlife while enjoying Maine's incredible winter scenery along the coast. Workshops are offered throughout the year to teach Map & Compass, Coastal Navigation, Outdoor Cooking, and Being a Trip Leader, but you can schedule your own custom workshop at any time.

Become a Registered Maine Guide in a personalized custom course. Training is a hybrid method of online work combined with private lessons and some group outdoor skills workshops. Become one of the few by choosing your license specialty of Recreation, Fishing, Hunting, Sea Kayaking or Tide-Water Fishing. Training usually takes a minimum of two months and can go longer based on your personal schedule but you can start at any time. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in the chosen specialty, be willing to commit serious time to learning the skills needed to be a Registered Maine Guide. You may live anywhere in the United States to train, but you will need to come to Brunswick, ME for hands-on outdoor workshops and 1:1 sessions including mock oral examinations.
