Welcome to Maine Foodie Tours!

We specialize in creating culinary tasting tours that give you a locals perspective, introducing you to a mix of native Maine cuisine and the creative culinary works of the food and beverage artisans who call Maine home. Our tours fill you up with food and facts as you meet and greet the business owners and staff at each tasting stop, while in between locales your guide shares historically related snippets, and points of interest.

Culinary Walking Tour - Incorporating the talents and tastes of some of our favorite culinary retailers with samples such as homemade lobster mac'n'cheese, Maine artisan cheeses and Maine mead
Lobster Lunch Crawl - Presents tastes of fresh-picked Maine lobster two ways, chowder and a local dessert
Happy 2-Hour Tour - Visits four locales for light apps to accompany craft cocktails or local craft beer
Sherpa Tour - An exclusive and intimate tasting tour of no more than 6 guests. Our most "off the eaten path" offering, the tastings change every time. By request only and subject to availability.
Cooking Classes - We take the tour to the kitchen, with one of our culinary connoisseurs. We create a special menu with recipes you can take home, and you and your group participate in creating it, with instruction and recommendations to the finer points of cooking from your Maine Foodie Tours guide. By request only and subject to availability.

Our tours run rain (snow) or shine. Bar Harbor, Camden, Kennebunkport and Rockland offer culinary excursions seasonally, while we operate all year long in our hometown of Portland.
