Tree Spirits is a small. locally owned winery and distillery in Oakland, ME. We have been handcrafting wines and spirits from locally sourced pear and apple ciders and maple syrup since 2010. Our goals are to produce great wines and spirits from locally sourced apples, pears and maple syrup and to have fun doing it.
Our sparkling wines, brandies, and absinthe have won awards at international competitions in San Francisco and NY City. We are the only producers of Absinthe in New England and our Absinthe was awarded Best Spirit by Down East Magazine Editors in 2016. In addition to our wines and spirits we offer brandy-based pear and pomegranate products that are great by themselves, as bases for sangria or mixed drinks. We also make our own organic Maple Vanilla and Spice Mix & Rub. All of our products are organic or minimally treated.
Our maple sparkling, picnic and fortified wines are fermented from local maple syrup and our Knotted Maple 80 proof spirit is distilled directly from the wine. Our pear and apple wines and brandies are produced from local apple and pear cider with no added flavoring.Tastings and tours are available March thru December.
