About Us
Twin Maple Outdoors was born in the spring of 2012. Founder Richard Yvon with the help of his Wife and children, started their own adventure of having a customer serviced based business in Bradford Maine. Pulling together using 35 years of experience in the Outdoors and Customer Service, took the leap into being a full time Registered Maine Guide Service. The new business based on relationships and ethics, took hold and went forward to present day offerings including a Luxury Lodge where people can enjoy all that Maine has to offer. Twin Maple Outdoors offers four seasons of Maine Outdoors Hunting, Fishing and Recreation.

About The Guide
Rich grew up hunting, fishing and camping all over the United States as well as his own back yard. He first learned to fish with his Dad, Norman in a 12′ aluminum boat. Spending time on the Lakes in Maine with His Uncle Rodney), and down to Florida on the St John River with His Uncle Walter Young, a Florida Park Super attendant. These special people and places started an Example and Love of the Outdoors that has carried through out His Life to Present Day. Rich is a Christian and believes in being self sufficient and providing for his family from field to table surviving from all that our Natural World offers. Having frequent summer trips to Florida, Rich spent time monitoring Manatees with Radio Tracking transmitters, Bass Fishing, and monitoring park activity with his Uncle Walter. Blue Spring Park, St John River, Hontoon Island, Manatee Springs are some of special places he had spent most summers exploring and learning from his mentor, Walter Young.
Starting as early as 8 years old on Ambajejus Lake, Rich spent summer days perch fishing and evenings fly fishing at Nesowadnehunk Lake with his Uncle Rodney. When fall arrived, accompanying his Uncle in Trapping, Hunting Partridge and Deer was enjoyed in Maine’s Back Wilderness. A family past time started his Love and Passion for Maine’s unspoiled Wilderness. Learning Maine’s Woods, Lakes, Remote Ponds, Rivers and Streams became an obsession that brought him to follow his dream of becoming a Registered Maine Guide. Combining His love and Passion of the Outdoors, Customer Service and Teaching, anyone sharing an Outdoor adventure with Rich will have a trip of a Lifetime. With His Life Partner and Supportive Wife Maryanne, they are living in the beautiful town of “Bradford”.
Rich, Maryanne and their two children Amanda and Annarose live on a small farm they named “Twin Maple Farm”. When He is not on a trip, He can be found teaching a class on Fly Fishing, Firearms, or working the farm.

Maine Inland Open Water Fishing:
Twin maple Outdoors offers an exception Fun value in some very specialized Maine Fishing Adventures. The primary targeted species fished are the Land Lock Salmon, Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass and Great Northern Pike. Offering Fly and Spin fishing with lessons for all species. Our offerings include Jet Boat fishing, Drift boat fishing, Streamside fishing and Float tube fishing. We target Lakes, Ponds, Rivers and Streams in a most majestic, natural, wilderness setting. “An experience that will make a memory to last a lifetime.”
Maine Hard Water Fishing:
During the months of January, February, and March, ice fishing is offered in Maine glacial lakes. Weather you are a beginner or seasoned ice fisher, Twin Maple Outdoors ice fishing adventures will exceed your expectations with warm fishing shelters and lake side lodging. Enjoy hot chocolate and catch Land Lock Salmon and Lake Trout.
Maine Recreation Adventures:
Twin Maple Outdoors offers low to high impact adventures for the entire family. We customize your time spent with use enjoying Waterfall and Ice Cave Hikes, Moose Safaris, Wilderness Camping with Kayaking and Canoeing. All enjoyed with an outdoor family style barbeque!
Maine Hunting Adventures: Hunt Moose, Deer, Turkey and Partridge in Maine. Experience a farm or big woods hunt in a ground blind, tree stand or on a still hunt. Twin Maple Outdoors will guide you in pre-scouted areas for the best results possible while providing great customer service.


Lodging
The new Luxury sporting lodge lends an authentic Maine Wilderness experience. Located on 125 quiet acres, a visitor will find peace, natural wonder and complete relaxation combined with World Class customer service. The lodge accommodates 6 people with exceptional hand made Amish cedar furniture. The lodge provides luxury amenities that would serve the most discriminating of taste. During your stay, catch and release fly-fishing can be enjoyed before settling down to a warm fire and a relaxing beverage.
