Grape Beginnings Winery is a boutique winery located in Midland MI. Closed Mondays. Tues-Wed 11am-9pm, Thur-Sat 11am-10pm Sundays 12pm-5pm.

All of our wines are made onsite from juices obtained from vineyards worldwide. Guests may have a few complimentary samples to help them choose a wine to purchase. Our wines range from the sweet and fruity side to the off-dry and dry reds and whites.

We serve glasses of wine for onsite consumption. The comfortable setting of the winery, with various antiques items on display, makes it a wonderful place to enjoy a glass of wine and an item off of our light menu. Outdoor seating is available on the patio during fair weather. The majority of the menu items are made from scratch. We have light appetizers such as bruschetta, hummus, and cheese and crackers or items a little more substantial like a specialty flatbread pizza or italian style spanakopita.

If you're in a hurry and just looking for a bottle of wine to take home; have a taste, grab your bottle and go. We can also make a batch on your favorite wine for you with proper notice. Batches are approximately 28 bottles and we do allow personalized labels for an additional fee.

Throughout the store there is wine merchandise and accessories items on display, available for that perfect gift for the wine lover in your life. Cork cages, wine purses and novelty wine items are only a few of the items we sell.

Once a month we host an open tasting, RSVP is required.. 3 glasses of wine with an appetizer buffet set out for all that attend $25.00 per person. Usually 7:30-9:30 on a Friday or a Saturday. Another event we host is Captured on Canvas, an artist led painting class. Our FB event page has the pictures to be painted with the dates and times along with a link to the sign up screen.
