The Lake Callis Recreation Complex, named after the late Bob Callis who raised funds to purchase the property located at 1152 N. Gale Rd., is 40 acres of recreational fun acquired through the efforts of the Davison Township Board of Trustees, numerous volunteers and Davison Township DDA funds.
This is a seasonal pay-to-use park With over 100 ft. of beautiful sandy beach and swimming area, changing rooms, a unique splash pad named the Splash-N-Dash, grills, the Beach Treats Concession Stand, observation deck, 6 NCAA rated sand volleyball courts and a Grand Pavilion. There are paddle boards available for rent and you can even do some catch and release fishing. The Randall V. Stewart Grand Pavilion, Gaga Pit, Tiki Hut and observation deck are available for event rental. The (6) NCAA rated sand volley ball courts are available for leagues, rental or free use by availability.
