WaterWorks Art Museum (WAM) is housed in an old water treatment plant. Built in 1910 and repurposed in 1977, This museum is very unique. The moment you walk through the doors the history and the beauty are overwhelming. Historical Photographs of Photographers that lived in the area are displayed and rotated periodically. The art showcased in the galleries include local, regional and national artists. Exhibits are changed about every six weeks and include a variety of mediums.
WAM also has a small gift store that features local and state artists. Pottery, jewelry, historical books and DVDs, postcards, and much more.
Classes for adults and children are held year round. Like us on Facebook and check out our website at wtrworks.org
