The Wilbur D. May Center is a year-round destination for people of all ages! The Center contains a museum, arboretum, and botanical garden -- all dedicated to preserving the legacy of Wilbur May, a Reno rancher, world traveler, and philanthropist. The museum houses a collection of rare and exotic artifacts and animals from around the world. The 11+ acre arboretum and botanical garden features beautiful plants, trees, and flowers, along with hidden groves, ponds, waterfalls, and a meditation labyrinth. A gift shop offers a visitors a variety of unique items to purchase. In addition, the May Center has rotating art exhibitions, traveling exhibitions, and other special programs.
