The Wadsworth Homestead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the oldest continually owned private estate west of the Hudson River. Situated on 300 acres at the end of Main Street, this is a unique setting that is integral to the Historic Landmark Village of Geneseo.
The Wadsworth family played a significant part in American History; original furnishings, art, and memorabilia are all part of the unique appeal of this historic home tour. Sixth generation family member Will Wadsworth escorts guests throughout the house while sharing stories about the pioneer brothers who settled Geneseo and the many famous people who visited here.
