Elk Cove Vineyards was founded in 1974 by Pat and Joe Campbell. Winemaker Adam Campbell joined forces with his parents in 1995 and Elk Cove remains proudly family owned. Living his whole life among the vines, Adam has a tremendous respect for the land on which the grapes were grown:
“High quality wine really starts in the vineyard. The time I spend stomping through our 250 acres of vines not only helps us make good decisions in viticulture, it also informs our winemaking decisions. Good winemaking is a mixture of art and science… But at the end of the day I need great vineyard sites and impeccable farming to make phenomenal wines.”
We love visitors! Elk Cove’s tasting room looks over our beautiful estate vineyards and Oregon’s Coast Range Mountains. We are open every day from 10 to 5 pm and offer our last tasting at 4:45 pm. Come try our award-winning wines, take in the spectacular view, and check out some of our tasting room exclusives – we often pour wines you won’t find anywhere else.
