eNRG Kayaking

eNRG Kayaking is passionate and dedicated to providing paddling experiences for experts and novices alike. The Pacific Northwest is a paddlers dream with access to lakes, big rivers, and whitewater. So whether you want to raft on a class III river or go for a leisurely stand-up paddleboarding excursion to the second largest waterfall in the United States eNRG kayaking will get you there.

We offer comprehensive rentals of rafts, single kayaks, tandem kayaks, inflatable kayaks, whitewater kayaks, stand-up paddleboard, and canoes.

Additionally, perhaps most notably we offer a variety of tours and classes:
WILLAMETTE FALLS TOUR
Whether you are an experienced paddler or not this trip has something for everyone. We meet at our shop on the Willamette River where you will be outfitted and briefed for your upcoming excursion. From there, you will paddle through waters rich with fish (chinook, salmon, shad, smallmouth bass, and sturgeons), herons, osprey, and sea lions (seasonal). The tour heads one mile upstream, passing by the historic Willamette Falls Locks en route to the breathtaking Willamette Falls, the end of the Oregon Trail. Along the way guides will share about the history of the area and help with any paddling questions. This tour is offered for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.

SANTIAM RIVER RAFTING
The N.F. Santiam River is the base for our whitewater operations. The Santiam River canyon is centrally located in NW Oregon and is one of the best valleys to paddle in the state – it has good flow all year and is just over a one hour drive from Portland. Our raft and inflatable kayak trips and kayak instruction occur on two different sections- a whitewater stretch and a scenic stretch.
Scenic Float: This seven mile section of river is made up of class I-II+ rapids and takes about 2.5 hours to complete and is a great introduction to river paddling on a pristine Oregon river. This section of aquamarine colored river floats you past the Santiam State Park, one of the most popular campgrounds in the region. Perfect for beginner kayakers, rafters, and families.
Whitewater Section: This seven mile section of river has four class III, intermediate, rapids: Swirlies, Spencers Hole, Carnivore, and Mill City Falls. This is a beautiful section of river that runs past many secret fishing holes and lots of Steelhead and Salmon. It takes about two hours to float and is a fun splashy section of river appropriate for families with children over 12 years old.

INTRODUCTION TO PADDLING
This entry level hour long class will give you the proper tools to start your paddling career. Our goal is to give you the confidence out on the river to start exploring all the wondrous waterways have to offer.
