Founded in 2004 in Oregon, House Spirits Distillery is a leader of America’s craft distilling movement. Our award-winning products are batch-distilled and are inspired by a passion for quality spirits and delicious cocktails.

Using ethically sourced ingredients, our award winning products are created under the watchful eye of our head distiller and our talented bartender.

Our flavorful, innovative lineup includes Westward Oregon Straight Malt Whiskey™, Krogstad Festlig Aquavit™, Volstead Vodka™ and a line of limited release small-batch products.

Produced in the heart of Portland’s famous Distillery Row, each of our spirits has the richness and craftsmanship to be enjoyed on their own and also lend themselves beautifully to your best-loved drinks and cocktails.

The House Spirits Tasting Room offers a chance to sample all our spirits and browse our barware, books and apparel and ask all sorts of questions relating to the vast world of distilled spirits.

Our staff are very knowledgeable and enjoy talking about our history, philosophy, products, cocktails and Portland!

For both out-of-town visitors and Portland locals, a House Spirits Tasting Room visit will give you a unique opportunity to experience part of Oregon’s dynamic artisan community. All of our spirits are available for purchase at the House Spirits Tasting Room.

Weekday tours run daily at the top of the hour, starting at 1PM, with the last tour running at 5PM. No need to call ahead unless you have a large group, in which case notice is appreciated. Weekend tours are at 1PM and 3PM on Saturdays and at 3PM on Sundays. You can pay ahead online by going to our Schedule a Tour page to ensure your spot will be held. The cost of a tour is $20 per head, which includes a full tasting of our award-winning spirits.
