Sands Whitewater and Scenic River Rafting Trips in Jackson, Wyoming offers both whitewater trips and scenic trips during the summer months starting mid May ongoing to mid September.

Our classic Whitewater trips are a must for all visitors to the valley! Our professional guides will take you through an 8 mile whitewater rafting tour in the Grand Canyon of the Snake River. Combining spectacular scenery with the excitement of Class II & III rapids, this trip has all the ingredients for the perfect whitewater adventure. We run both 14 man and 8 man boats which allows you to choose what feels right to you. On the 8 man boats everyone paddles and on the 14 man boats the boat is wider to allow for seating in the middle for those who do not want to paddle.

Before you head out on the river, your skilled guide will give you thorough safety and paddle instructions.

If whitewater is not for you and you want to see the amazing sites that our backyard has to offer, there is no better way to do it than by doing a scenic float. Our expert guides will guide you down a relaxing portion of the river and point out wildlife, the landscapes and give you an overview on the history of the area. Kids 4 & 5 float Free!

We also offer a variety of combination trips, including an Overnight Combo trip Enjoy 8 miles of spectacular mountain scenery, with wildlife and bird activity on the riverbanks and on the river. Enjoy our renowned Pine Bar Campsite where our cook prepares a delicious hot dinner guaranteed to satisfy the heartiest of appetites. We will then take you across the river for as your adventure on the river continues with the final 8 epic miles of whitewater and the next morning after a hot breakfast you take your whitewater rafting trip. This same trip combination is also run during the day as our Breakfast Combo. We also offer a 21 mile combo trip which is our 13 mile scenic and then after a ride back to the office your adventure continues as you join a whitewater trip for 8 thrilling miles down the Snake River.
