Michael's on the Hill is located just 5 minutes from Stowe and Interstate 89, within a Circa 1820 farmhouse, surrounded by acres of rolling lawns, forest & perennial gardens. Spectacular views of the Green Mountains & sunsets make Michael's a popular stop for photographers and tourists alike.
We offer European influenced farm to table cuisine expertly prepared by Swiss Chef Owner & Vermont’s first Chef of the Year, Michael Kloeti. Michael’s cooking inspiration stems from his childhood--European comfort food, sustainable & unprocessed. Whenever possible, our own fruits, vegetables, herbs & flowers are utilized to complement the menu & decor. At any given time, products from at least 30 different local farms are used on the menu.
The beginning of every meal is enhanced with a warm, linen-wrapped artisan baguette, sweet butter, and marinated olives served in a dish created by a local potter.
