Since 2003, Carioca Tropical has been offering a new concept in Sightseeing tours to major hotels and travel agencies in Rio de Janeiro. We are quality-oriented. We sell tailor-made tours for small parties, with specialized tour guides and monitored pick-up operations: our pick-ups average 20 to 30 minutes, making pickups between 3-5 hotels in Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. We like to offer this short pick up service so that our guests get to maximize their time seeing the beautiful sights of Rio rather than waiting hours for other guests at hotels.
Our seat-in basis excursion departs with up to 14 clients as a rule – with a minimum of two clients, except where indicated. Up to three languages are spoken out of English, Spanish, and Portuguese. (Other languages available under request)
Also we may in some cases accommodate more than 14 guests; if you have more than 14 guests please contact our office for scheduling.
By request of our major customers – hotels and travel agencies in Rio de Janeiro -, we currently operate two types of excursions: Sightseeing Tours in a seat-in basis, with pre-established itineraries and schedules; and Private Tours in exclusive vehicles, with itineraries and schedules on demand.
