The Ark Bed and Breakfast is ideally placed for a visit to Cambridge. We offer centrally-located, non-smoking bed and breakfast accommodation in a family atmosphere (children over 10 years welcome).
We are located close to the centre of Cambridge. We are well placed to have easy access (15-20 minutes walk) to the Historic City Centre, river, colleges of Cambridge University and museums. Even closer are the two shopping centres, Anglia Ruskin University, restaurants, a swimming pool and supermarkets.
Cambridge University is famous for its wide variety of architecture. The ages of the colleges range from hundreds of years old, to very modern buildings. The colleges have beautiful gardens, with a colourful array of flowers, usually beside the river Cam, which during the summer, can be visited by the public. There are also many free university museums, including the Fitzwilliam Museum and world-class buildings such as King's College Chapel.
