Elton Hall is nestled in the beautiful countryside on the Cambridgeshire/Northamptonshire border, lying eight miles south-west of Peterborough.

The house has been the home of the Proby family since 1660. It is an enchanting house that has continued to evolve throughout the centuries culminating in a fascinating blend of styles. Ever room is packed with magnificent treasures - antique furniture and a superb collection of fine paintings dating from the early fifteenth century to 19th century works by J.F. Lewis, Landseer and Millais and world-renowned British artists such as Gainsborough, Constable and Reynolds.

The gardens provide a stunning backdrop to the house and have been completely revitalised over the last 35 years. A flower garden has replaced the rose garden along with a new sunken garden, a shrub garden and topiary. A Gothic Orangery was built to celebrate the Millennium and an arbour was completed to mark Jubilee celebrations.
