Apple Tree Cafe is a family run cafe/restaurant situated in Trevescan, Sennen – 1 mile from Lands End. We are a Cornish family from Penzance and are very excited about our new venture. Stephen has been a chef for 18 years, most recently working in The Turks Head in Penzance and The Sandbar in Praa Sands. He has always been passionate about cooking and creating new dishes using local produce. Amy teaches part time at a primary school in Penzance and will be around to help out at the cafe as much as possible! We have 4 children, Sinead 13, Jacob 5, Eva 3 and Ottilie 3 months. We have spent MANY hours (with LOTS of support from family and friends!) renovating the cafe to create a warm, welcoming, family friendly atmosphere. We look forward to meeting all of our new customers – local and visiting.
To begin with, the cafe will be offering homemade lunches, cakes and light snacks . Our coffee is hand roasted in Cornwall and other soft drinks are locally sourced where possible. A range of alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the day.
In the near future we plan to host a variety of events, including restaurant evenings which will be advertised through our Facebook page – so watch this space!
