Darrynane cottages are 4 detached pet friendly self catering cottages located in a stunning Bodmin Moor valley and surrounded by woods, waterfalls and the river. The cottages sleep from 2 - 6 people in 1, 2 and three bedroomed properties. All are set in their own beautiful woodland gardens with fenced and gated parking next to the the front door.
They all have fully fitted kitchens with electric cookers, fridge freezers and microwave., woodburning stoves as well as electric heating throughout, They either have a bath with shower over, a shower room or wet room. There is a utility room at Darrynane House with washing machines and dryer .
The Lodge, sleeps 2, with double four poster bed, dressing room and en-suite bathroom with shower. The entrance opens into the lounge with original brick fireplace housing the woodburning stove on the left is an archway into the kitchen/dining area. Outside is a lovely woodland garden and terrace with parking for a car. Lakeside is a 2 bedroomed cottage with double and twin rooms. It has an L shaped open plan living/dining/kitchen area and shower room. Outside there is a patio overlooking the oak woods and next to the top pond and park for two cars.
The Stables is also a two bedroomed cottage with double and twin or superking options. There is a large lounge with woodburning stove, kitchen /dining room with french windows opening into the back garden. It has a wet room and further cloakroom. It is wheelchair friendly throughout. It has direct access to Darrynane waterfall and woods.
Riverside cottage is our three bedroomed cottage with en-suite double, twin and further twin/superking option. It has a lounge and dining area leading to the kitchen. There are french windows from the dining area onto a patio which overlooks the garden. It is set next to the non floodingTor River. It has wheel chair access. There is parking for 3 cars.
Travelling around from Darrynane is easy with the good local road network making both the North and South coast beaches as well as Eden project, Padstow, Port Isaac, Fowey or Tintagel all a short drive away making Darrynane cottages an ideal location for a short break or longer holiday.
