Your hosts at Elmsdale Guest House, Penzance are Vanessa & Steve. Our aim is to provide a friendly and relaxing stay in good quality B & B accommodation at reasonable prices.
Location
Elmsdale Guest House is located in a fine 1880s town house within the Penzance Conservation Area.  The Town Centre is a short walk away (0.6 km) and offers a wide range of restaurants, cafes, pubs and retailers.  The rail and bus stations are located 1.3 km away and Penzance Harbour (ferry point for Isles of Scilly) 1.0 km away.  Penzance is an ideal location from which to explore West Cornwall because of its central location within the Penwith Peninsula and role as the area travel hub.
Rooms
There are five letting rooms, each with en-suite facilities and free wi-fi.  Flat screen TV’s and dvd player’s are also provided to enhance your stay. There are two rooms with double beds, one with a super-king bed, a king-size suite, and one room has twin beds
Parking
There is free on-street parking nearby for cars.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
We offer an online booking service, and accept most credit and debit cards. We charge a deposit on booking equal to the cost of the first night’s stay.  Five days notice of cancellation required.
Children
We accept children aged 10 years and older.
Pets
We do not accept pets.
Breakfast
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in the ground floor dining room.  We offer a selection of cereals, fruit juices, yogurts, prunes, grapefruit segments and fresh fruit on a self-service basis.  We also offer a range of cooked-to-order options including a full English/Cornish Breakfast,  and Croissants.  We can provide an continental option upon request and can meet most special dietary needs if notice is given. We offer an early breakfast (from 7.30 am) for guests booked upon the IOS ferry.  We do not provide evening meals but there is a wide range of restaurants, cafes and take-aways in the Town Centre.
Smoking
No smoking is permitted anywhere within the the property.
Access Statement
There are 4 steps to the front door of Elmsdale Guest House Penzance.  All bedrooms are on the first, second and third floors which requires guests to be able to negotiate the main staircase.  The guest house is not suitable for wheelchair users or those that need help with stairs.
