Emma welcomes you to a cute wee sites taking a maximum of eight pitches. We are a small holding located in the wooded and pasture landscape of Netherby Estate, part of the Debatable Lands of The Scottish Border. Carlisle, a city of unique status having being parts of both Scotland and England through history is 12 miles away and Gretna Green is 7 miles distant. We are 7 miles from J22 the M74 and 10 miles from J44 of the M6, handy for an overnight stay travelling north or south. For those staying a few days in the Debatable Lands you will find us far more tranquil than the congested Lake District , yet with plenty things to see and do, have a look at our website for a few ideas. On our 12 acres , we graze sheep, keep chickens , have a large vegetable garden & polytunnell and have recently planted up 2 acres of new native woodland. On the campsite we have an rea for campfires , a BBQ area , a washing up shed powered by solar energy and toilets with a free shower. There are two hard standings and four grass pitches with electric hook ups for caravans and motorhomes with additional pitches available for tents. Pitch fees for 2016 are £12.50 / night for up to two adults and two children, electric hook up £2.50 / night and one man tent £6 /night
