The Garden covers 43 acres and includes two adjoining valleys one with a stream and the other the River Black.The valley sides have wide contoured walks and the valleys a lake and several ponds.Planting is extensive with rhododendron,camellia,magnolia,rose and many ornamental trees and shrubs. The varied wild flowers are augmented with bulbs and herbaceous plants also available at the plant centre.
