Located in the stunning Dartmoor National Park this 15th century former mill boasts 5 acres of gardens with the River Teign snaking its way through the grounds. The walks straight from the door are beautiful with the 2 Moors Way and river paths to Castle Drogo and the quaint village of Chagford with its tea rooms, many pubs and shops only 25 minutes by foot.
The hotel is gradually being refurbished but still retains a home from home feeling of comfort and peace. The 20 bedrooms are all individually styled and some have private patio or deck overlooking the lush gardens. The 2 Rosette restaurant offers excellent food using Dartmoor's finest ingredients making this a food lovers heaven. Dogs are welcome to and the dedicated boot room with treats for all ensures the great outdoors does not come inside!
