At Devon Cycle Hire we specialise in all aspects of family cycle hire, providing quality bikes, friendly service and helpful advice. We’re really passionate about all things bike and we want to pass on our love of cycling to you. At our centre we have everything you need for the perfect day out cycling including Hamax child seats, Burley trailers, tags and sit up and beg bikes we even have a trailer you can hire for your dog!
We pride ourselves on the quality and reliability of our bikes and this is something our customers regularly comment on. All our bikes are well maintained and all service history routinely logged.
Devon Cycle Hire is the perfect place to start your ride especially for families. It gives you greater flexibility and is ideal with little ones as it allows you the option of seeing both viaducts without too long a cycle.
We have a newly built hire centre selling locally produced refreshments like ice-cream, flapjacks and brownies, hot chocolate tea & coffee.

We are located directley on The Granite Way, a well surfaced traffic free trail which runs all the way between Okehampton & Lydford. It's fairly flat and offers spectacular views.
It is now part of the National Cycle Network route 27 Devon Coast to Coast, a wonderful cycle track running along the edge of Dartmoor but in years past the spectacular views would have been enjoyed by Victorian train passengers on their journey between Exeter and Plymouth. Being an old railway line means it's a lovely traffic free leisure ride from a well surfaced trail.
