The Oyster Shack has real heritage, starting as an Oyster Farm 28 years ago. Bursting with row upon row of oyster purification tanks, the oysters would be cleansed after maturing in the River Avon and oyster lovers would arrive in droves to buy their fresh molluscs, bringing with them a packed lunch, shucking their own oysters and tucking in with some crusty bread and a bottle of wine (or two). Thus in a (quite literally) organic way, The Oyster Shack was born.

Keeping this ethos alive, we have extended under a bright sail outdoors and house a restaurant both inside and outside - winters are rustic and cosy inside by our roaring fire whilst Summertime is enjoyed al fresco in the sunshine outdoors.

The wine and cocktail list has a reputation all of its own - carefully selected to pair perfectly with fresh seafood. Service is relaxed and friendly in keeping with our soulful rustic nature. Our decor is vibrant, sea life inspired with wooden textures and rustic finishes - all paired with warm, magical lighting and candlelit evenings.

The menu is written daily depending on whats been landed locally and what is in season on the land... caught, foraged, and sourced from the surrounding area. For us, making sure we care for the environment that provides us with our food is fundamentally important, and it’s part and parcel of everything we do.
