Head chef Mark Hasell develops exciting seasonal menus with dishes that stand out from the crowd and never disappoint. He adds his own twists to French and British classics making the 1812 experience one of the most desired in Dorset.

1812 bar prides itself on widely renowned cocktails and a professional team of bartenders that consistently raise the bar on local industry standards. Spend time at our famous bustling walnut bar and soak up the theatre of busy staff shaking up amazing mixed drinks, you won’t be disappointed. Our extensive drinks menu combines classic serves with contemporary cocktails unique to 1812 created by our very own team. Of course, if you have a favourite that is not on the menu, our bartenders will be happy to make it for you.

The famous 1812 stage showcases live local bands alongside national and international recognised artists, every Friday and Saturday night from 10pm. Keep an eye on our website for live music listings.
