Founded in September 2013, Mettricks is Southampton’s first loose leaf Tea and speciality Coffee House. We are on a mission to bring BETTER TEA & COFFEE to our great city, & we take it seriously.

As well as better Tea & Coffee, we serve FRESH, LOCAL, TASTY FOOD, at breakfast, brunch, lunch & dinner time. Wherever possible we cook & bake ourselves, from scratch; from our cakes & scones to our soups & stews.

Now with 3 unique premises in Guildhall, Old Town and Bargate we can cater to all types of people from those wanting an intimate relaxed experience in Old Town, to a more open and equally as friendly and homely outdoor seating area in the gorgeous Southampton sun at Guildhall.

After dark we serve a selection of tasty cocktails, a good wine menu & real ales, ciders & lagers alongside a new small bites & Flat bread & home favourites inspired by the best of British.

We are rooted in our city centre community, & take great pride in creating an ethical, sustainable, culturally aware business that has become a home from home for lazy Sundays, working lunches & get togethers with family & friends.

And in everything we do, we inject a dose of pride, personality and honesty (oh, and we will always pay our taxes).
