The University of Leicester’s Attenborough Arts Centre is an inclusive arts centre on Lancaster Road, which prides itself on being accessible to all. We want everyone to feel welcome and get involved in what we do.

With over 18 years of experience, our programme offers performance, courses and workshops, contemporary art exhibitions, activities for children and families, and more. Our brand new gallery is dedicated to the exhibition of contemporary British and international art, and is the largest contemporary art gallery in Leicester and one of the largest in the East Midlands area.

In addition to our programme, the venue has a café bar serving a variety of delicious hot and cold food, with high-quality tea and coffee from local roasters St. Martins Coffee.

We are a 10 minute walk away from Leicester Railway Station, with pay and display parking on Lancaster Road weekdays and FREE in the Medical Science Building car park evenings and weekends.
