We are a family run Camping and Caravan Site, next to the River Ancholme, where there are boat launching (day, weekly and monthly licenses available on site) and mooring , and in season fishing facilities (day tickets available on site), bikes for the children to ride and for the active canoes and 2 pedalos for hire. With a Warm and Friendly Welcome waiting, where children can play, pets are welcome (free of charge), and groups can meet and chill out, we have an area where caravans and tents can be pitched together.

Please note we are a lively weekend site with a music and loud noise cut off time of 23.00 /11.00 pm, we are usually quieter mid week, and sorry but we have a minimum of 2 nights stay over Bank Holidays, but we don't have any price hicks during the year. We are open all year for caravans and motor homes, but closed for tents after Bonfire Weekend to Easter / 1st April, which ever is the earliest.

We have a level grass site, with parking, vans allowed, next to your caravan or tent, children's play area, ball games allowed, play dogs, and a pets corner, including an aviary, although we also have free range hens (eggs for sale), ducks, geese, and a retired Shetland pony.

We are a chill out site and not a rules and regimental one, so unfortunately if you want a site where children should be seen and not heard, a lot of don'ts, and everything is quiet by 22.00 then this site is not for you, but if you want a site where you can relax, have a drink and enjoy yourselves , and children can play naturally and make new friends, then this site is for you. Life is for living and live and let live.
