The Cosy Club

Part of the iconic Corn Exchange, Manchester Cosy Club is a grand affair at the heart of the city centre.

Manchester Cosy Club was built in 1903, and once busy with traders. It fell into decline during the 1930s depression. However, it gradually came back to life over the years, thriving with market stalls, traders and small shops (including the legendary Harry Hall Cycles) before declining again in the 1990s.

Now it’s been renovated and is the perfect space for drinks and dinner. We’ve kept plenty of original features, including the staircase and tiles, as well as some neat touches like the domed glass ceiling in the bar. The bar itself is a bit of a character and comes from an old pub at Liverpool Lime Street station called ‘The Head of Steam’.

The main floor is split into two rooms. With floor to ceiling windows, the Exchange Room catches the bright morning sun, whist the Cathedral Room is perfect for watching the sun set over the cathedral skyline. Across both rooms there’s space for 140 Cosy Clubbers – and even more in the sun trap outdoor area. If you fancy a really private evening, head to the Circle Parlour which has just enough space for two leather arm chairs and a hand-crafted wooden dresser made just for us.

Whether you're into brunch for lunch or tapas for dinner, our food menu offers something delicious for everyone, all day long. With a British heart, majoring on luxury comfort food with some tongue in cheek classics and favourites from across the world, there are plenty of punchy flavours. Don't forget to ask about our Gluten Free or Vegan menus or you can take a look at them just underneath, where you'll also find our rather large drinks cabinet and our menu to cater for special events.

The Cosy Club’s menu majors on comfort food classics as well as offering an extensive brunch menu served until 6pm, a decent variety of sandwiches, and a great selection of tapas. Whatever the occasion, we’ll have something delicious enough to tickle your fancy. We’re always cooking up a storm and launching new dishes as well as keeping our Cosy Club favourites. Don’t forget to ask your server for a Kid’s Menu. We’re proud to be able to offer flexibility with a full gluten free and full vegan menu to cater for all. Please take a look at the menus below, we find it hard to recommend as everything is so scrumptious!

Whatever your tipple the Cosy Club aims to please. You can expect great coffee (and cake), an eclectic soft drinks selection (award winning actually), a fantastic selection of draught beer/cider/ale (which our clubs source locally where possible), a compact list of decent plonk, a nicely proportioned list of creative and classic cocktails and a cracking back bar to boot. Whatever your needs, we’ve got it covered.
