With its dedication to free entry for all events, The Thirsty Scholar has long been recognised as one of Manchester's best pubs for live entertainment hosting everything from band and poetry nights to comedy nights and regular 60's / Northern Soul DJ's over the weekend. With a welcoming atmosphere and a great selection of drinks it makes a perfect midweek night out. Over the weekend has more of a club feel to it with people dancing all night to classic 60's tunes.
