Awesome Walls is Liverpool's finest climbing wall, offering a safe environment where climbing is fun. Situated in a 150 year old church, we offer over 1,000 square metres of climbing with hundreds of routes.

With walls to suit everyone, from small top rope walls to the awesome 17.5 metre lead wall which overhangs by 8 metres. St Albans Church first opened its doors to worshipers in 1849 and then to climbers who appreciate quality in 1999. During the years since opening as Awesome Walls we have continually reinvested in our climbing facility making it what it is today. Whether you're an absolute beginner wanting to learn how to climb or an experienced outdoor climber Awesome Walls has lots to offer you.

Rock climbing is a sport that the whole family can enjoy together regardless of age or ability. It's not all about who can climb the highest or quickest, it's more about participating and enjoying a level that suits your ability.

At Awesome Walls we have a massive range of climbs to suit everyone from novice to expert. As a family activity it enhances trust and bonds through shared challenges and experiences.

As host to national climbing competitions such as the BICC we can guarantee to provide a suitable challenge for even the most experienced climbers. But we’re not just about roped climbing! We also have a variety of bouldering areas to choose from. You can expect to find boulder problems on all angles and styles between the traverse wall, the steep and powerful crypt and the tower woodie board.
