Harmony House a charismatic traditional bed and breakfast in a small rural village setting between York and Selby. All our rooms are en suite with fridges, fresh milk, Eyptian cotton bedding and a locally sourced freshly cooked breakfast is included in the room rate. You can relax in our guest lounge, (where guests arriving between 3pm and 5pm can enjoy tea and refreshments after their journey), and there is free Wi-Fi throughout.

Harmony House overlooks the wild flower meadow called the Green and parts date back to the 17th Century. It has played a significant part in the village life beginning as agricultural cottages, then a Sunday school, reading room and post office, and now the whole house has been sympathetically restored and modernised, yet still retains many of its old characteristics with some low ceilings and steps. We like to think it is the perfect antidote to City life

Harmony House is easily accessible from all major trunk roads and motorways and is 6 miles from York and the park and ride is 10 minutes away at MacArthur Glen. We have safe parking and washing drying facilities for guests arriving by cycle or motorbike and there is an hourly bus service throughout the day (except Sundays), which takes 20 minutes to York
