Oink Oink! Piglets Adventure Farm offers a fantastic family day out, packed with exciting attractions and buckets of fun.
Aptly named an adventure farm, scramble up the Truffles Farmhouse & Barn, tackle the Olym-Pig Assault course, race friends on pedal Go Karts, bounce high on Big Pigs Pillows and jump aboard the Trailer Ride or pink Barrel Train. Not forgetting the Giant Sandpit, Crazy Farm Golf (shhh don’t wake the sleeping pig) and explore the Nature and Farmyard Trails too.
Combined with the Animal Petting Barn, get close to farmyard cuties. The Piglet Maternity Ward is home to expectant mums and little piglets, you might even see some being born. Plus, with the Barn open all day, stroke and cuddle bunnies and guinea pigs, hold the cutest baby chicks ever, brush the resident Kune Kune pigs (they love this) and even milk a cow. All in all, you’ll find a whole day of fun waiting for you.
And with so much to do you’ll need a bite to eat! Choose Piglets Coffee House or Truffles Trough Cafe. Serving delicious snacks, sweet treats and Babyccinos, there’s lots to choose from. Adults can relax with a lovely Cappuccino, Latte or strong Yorkshire tea and the little ones can enjoy the Piggy Pen small soft play corner.
To ensure the programme is always changing, the special events timetable is second to none. Over Halloween, children can join in with Spooky Halloween fun and the farm hosts a magical family Christmas event to remember.
Open 10am until 5.30pm daily (closed for winter season Dec-Feb but open exclusively in December for the Christmas event).
Piglets Adventure Farm is only 15mins from the centre of York on Towthorpe Moor Lane, between Strensall Road and the A64, North of York. Look out for our brown signs on the A64 and York ring road. For Sat Navs use YO32 9ST.
Family facilities include toilets with disabled access, hand washing facilities in the Animal Petting Barn, Piglets Coffee House, Truffles Trough Cafe, baby changing facilities, and free coach and car parking.
