York Golf Club is one of Yorkshire’s best regarded golf clubs and York’s oldest and finest golf course.
Located a few miles outside the historic city of York, the club provides an 18-hole heathland golf course with “overall probably the best greens we have seen all year”, according to the Sports Turf Research Institute in 2016 (who assist the R&A with Open Championship courses).
The club offers a warm welcome to all golfers, visitors, groups and societies coming to play golf in Yorkshire. With fantastic modern facilities including a superb driving range, highly regarded catering and one of Yorkshire’s best Pro Shops, any visitor to York Golf Club will certainly enjoy their game when they come to play golf in Yorkshire.
