In the heart of Stratford upon Avon in England, and directly facing Shakespeare's famous birthplace on Henley Street, “Harry the Hazelnut” from The Nut Roastery’s store front greets and amuses everyone.The Hazelnut character looks like he might as well be yelling out the famous Shakespeare quote: “To Thine own Self be True”, making people stop and sample our exciting creation of healthy snacks, based around Nuts and Seeds from all over the world.

The idea behind everything at NIYM is that we can have Fun and laugh whilst we co-create new and better ways to snack on wholesome foods, some Raw and most Gluten Free, but all Natural and Healthy and free from artificial flavours and preservatives.

Our customers are treated with the opportunity to try everything they can see around the store, we provide samples across our central table but offer even more samples for products which we aren’t sampling. We often invite our customers to stand in front of our open plan kitchen within the store during the creation period. This allows our customers to see what goes into our products, how they are prepared and be oozed by the aromas which are created from the magic.

Our overall philosophy on health can be summed up in the word “Balance”. We believe that Health is all about the wholesome choices which work best for everyone as the individuals that we are. And we are reminded daily from across Henley Street; “To thine own Self be True”
