We love real tea, home made cakes, a Sussex breakfast, brunch, cream teas, Sussex cheeses, Meantime Brewery and local fish with a back drop of film memorabilia, industrial lighting and antiques and a soundscape of everything from Wizard of Oz to Trojan Records to Matt Monro.

We serve Breakfast, Brunch and Afternoon Tea all day. We think you will like it too especially as we are a pebbles throw from the beach.
There has been a tea room or milk bar here since 1911 when the building was opened as a roller skating rink and cinema. The cinema now has two screens.

The Vintage Tea Room is open from 10.00am – 5.00pm daily. Table Bookings are advisable. Please note that we do not take bookings of more than 10 on Saturdays and Sundays. Contact us on 01903 210044.

We love dogs but do not allow them inside the dining room. There is also an outside seating area for 30.

This is a rare independently owned tea room inspired by all things iconic and beautiful from any vintage period in Britain whether it is 1920’s cocktails to mods and rockers, Falcon enamelware to Singer sewing machines.
The food and drink is also a celebration of classic British seaside fayre from PG Tips and British Full English, to Blackdown Sussex Gin and Knickerbocker Glories. We even have a menu for Vintage Little People.

The Dome Kitchen produces the majority of the food in house using some key local suppliers. All the cakes and scones are made daily. We also produce gluten free cakes and sandwiches on request. We serve all items all day so you choose when you want to eat. The sharing boards of cured meats, smoked fish and Sussex cheeses are served daily.

The tea is whole leaf and the coffee roasted in London. There are beers from Camden, Meantime and Samuel Smith’s Brewery.

PRIVATE HIRE
This is a very quirky space for your breakfast meeting between 7am-9.30am or evening party after 6.00pm.
The room has enjoyed a variety of purposes since 1911 including an original tea room and 1960’s milk bar. The space is now fully licensed with a lovely Drinks List including craft beer and eclectic spirits.
There is memorabilia galore from the 105 year history of The Dome. This makes it a very special and intimate space for a business or social event. The Party Menus work well as evening menu options.
