This gorgeous nature reserve has 8 wildlife hides, free boat rides and an amazing reedbed boardwalk. A collection of over 50 species of wildfowl from around the world in natural settings are on display 364 days a year. A full schedule of events all year around includes pond dipping Apr- Oct. The Water’s Edge Cafe serves hot meals from 12-2pm and delicious cakes and specialty hot drinks all day.
Stunning views – the reserve is framed by the rolling South Downs, towering Offham Hangar and majestic Arundel Castle.
Wetland Discovery Boat Safaris – Glide with a wildlife guide on quiet electric boats through the reedbeds to watch water voles and water birds. Wildlife surrounds you - ducks on the surface, the fish below it, water voles rustle the reeds while peregrines & buzzards soar the skies above.
The Pond Explorer station, Tree Creepers & Pond Skater play areas and the Meadow Maze (seasonal) – families will enjoy these exciting, interactive play areas.
World Wetlands – a chance to get up close and hand feed rare and endangered birds from around the world.

Diving Duck Fish Feed - Watch these underwater acrobats compete for fish each afternoon in the crystal waters of the Icelandic pen.
Reedbed boardwalk – Take a stroll down a wide wooden boardwalk and immerse yourself in the rich sights & sounds of the SSSI reedbed.
Wildlife sightings board – Recent sightings from the seven wildlife hides and different habitats across the reserve are posted in the visitor centre daily.
Guide in the Hide (weekends): WWT volunteers help visitors identify wildlife from our hides using a spotting scope and ID guides. Check with the admissions desk to find the hide where the guide is today.
