Our Museum tells the story of the beautiful Sussex town of Arundel and the surrounding area in this award-winning contemporary building on the banks of the River Arun. A stone's throw from Arundel Castle, the historic seat of the Dukes of Norfolk, the Museum provides a fascinating insight into the town's history.
On display in our modern open-plan gallery are objects that bring history to life. They span from pre-historic flint tools found at early settlements and Roman floor tiles found at the site of a luxurious Roman villa to the large WW2 air raid siren from the roof of the Town Hall, and a variety of colourful 20th century shop and business signs. The Museum shop offers a range of gifts and souvenirs to appeal to all pockets. Refreshments are also available in our foyer.

Arundel Museum is an independent museum and registered charity run by Arundel Museum Society, volunteers and a small staff.
It receives no outside funding for running costs, relying on admission charges, subscriptions, donations and fundraising events. The Museum is fully accessible to wheelchair users, registered guide dogs are permitted.
