Welcome to Tong Garden Centre, we’re proud to be one of Yorkshire’s biggest independent garden centres, nestled between Leeds and Bradford. We’re set in 17 acres of beautiful Yorkshire countryside, yet within 5 minutes reach of the M62, with ample parking, free wi-fi and all you need to enjoy spending a day with us.

Our team of friendly experts are always on hand, ready to help you with all your gardening needs. In addition to the extensive choice of plants, including an impressive range of Yorkshire-grown bedding, the garden centre offers an enviable choice of pots and containers plus all you need to keep your garden looking great all year round, not to mention beautiful outdoor furniture and solar lighting.

You’ll also find books, gifts and home accessories as well as greeting cards and Tong also welcomes retail shops including Mountain Warehouse, Maidenhead Aquatics, Bon Marché, Klass, Julian Charles and Pavers Footwear plus award-winning farm shop William’s Farm Kitchen.

Dining at Tong Garden Centre is always a treat! Choose to relax at The Coffee Shop in the heart of the garden centre where you can enjoy the perfect cup of hand-crafted coffee, a delicious selection of cakes and home-bakes plus sandwiches and paninis. Alternatively, Orchard Restaurant boasts a beautifully seasonal and freshly-prepared menu. Whether it’s a hearty breakfast to start the day, light bites or a lovely lunch with friends, a delicious gateau or afternoon tea, the team are ready to treat you!

Tong Garden Centre is also home to Grass Hoppers – our exciting outdoor adventure playground set in a secure environment with a huge sandpit, zip wire, trim tail, playground and two giant jumping pillows, coin-operated ride-on cars plus a family-friendly café serving refreshments, sandwiches, cakes and Mr Moo’s delicious Yorkshire ice cream! Entry fee of £3.50 per child applies, with under 1s free.
