Dundee Museum of Transport is an independent museum that preserves the transport heritage of Dundee and the surrounding area. Its core aim is to enable visitors to gain enjoyment, learning, inspiration from the museum collections, buildings and activities.

The museum opened in 2014 and has proved a popular addition to the City's attractions. Visitors can step back in time to an era of horse-drawn trams and steam power and discover the amazing stories of local transport pioneers. Star attractions include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Dundee's Last Horse Drawn Tram and a fantastic collection of vehicles !
