Greenbank is big house, full of character. It was built in 1850 in a prime location facing the loch in the village of Lochgoilhead.
If you don't already know Lochgoilhead, the place is a gem with terrific mountain views and the serenity of the tidal loch. There are endless forest trails, upland walks and climbs. There are waterfalls, rivers and fishing. And of course there is the popular village inn just two minutes walk from the house.
There are 6 bedrooms (3 double, two single and one twin), two en-suite bathrooms and 2 other bathrooms. WiFi is unlimited and you have use of the phone. There is a small TV, games and books. The kitchen is large with seating for 4, induction hob, dishwasher and ovens. The dining room seats 10. There is a large garden, with gas BBQ and a rope swing, rising up the hill towards farmland and mountains above. From the back windows of the house you can watch wildlife while from the front you can watch for seals and seabirds.
Minimum bookable periods are 3 days midweek or 4 days over a weekend. Dogs are welcome (subject to some rules) and a downstairs double bedroom and bathroom makes the house suitable for people with reduced mobility. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property including the garden.
