Or within half an hour, access Glasgow's great range of restaurants, shops, entertainment and sporting venues.
This lovely bungalow, situated in a quiet estate at the foot of the beautiful Campsie Fells, has everything you could want for a comfortable, convenient holiday base. The cottage is all on one level, with level access throughout, and as such is particularly suitable for people who have disabilities, mobility problems or young children - folding cot and high chair supplied.
Offering three bedrooms, spacious living room, well fitted kitchen, modern bathroom and conservatory/dining room, smart bathroom with bath with shower over, this pretty modern house is furnished to a high standard, with level access to all rooms, large private garden, sheltered, sunny patio and off road parking for two cars. Gas central heating and triple glazing keep the house cosy throughout the winter too. Within village are all necessary facilities and resources, eg doctor, pharmacist, garage, grocer, butcher, hairdresser, churches - all within 10 minutes walk along the road or level riverside walk.
The spacious living room has plenty of seating to relax after a day out, and has TV, DVD, and WiFi connection, and has views over the garden to the impressive Campsie Fells. The large kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances (fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven and hob, microwave, small electric mixer, pressure cooker etc.). The kitchen opens into a bright dining conservatory, with access via a double door to a broad deck area and patio, a sheltered sun-trap! There is also a large private fenced garden to the front, suitable for kids to play in safely, or adults to relax. Garden furniture is available from a small shed on the patio. The cottage is triple glazed and well insulated, and has gas central heating. All linen is supplied, as well as cleaning materials etc. If you want a very comfortable house with all modern conveniences to make for a stress-free holiday, then Dingieshowe Cottage is the one for you.
