Charwood is a lovely family friendly restaurant with lounge bar and 2 function suites. With a big onsite car park you can bring the whole family along without worrying about parking! We have a great outdoor seating area away from the main road and a tiny (and safe) little water feature the kids can throw pennies into. Our delicious Kids menu is all made fresh on-site and we can cater for any allergy requirements your little ones might have (or yourselves for that matter).

Our fresh and exciting menu has everything you could hope for coming into those lovely summer evenings with an on-site Josper Grill for our delicious steaks and a wood burning Pizza oven.
With stunning views over the Pentland Hills from our floor to ceiling windows or our beer garden it's the perfect way to spend a family evening.

We also have 2 function suites, one that can hold up to 120 people for drinks (90 for a sit down meal) and one that holds up to 25/30 people. These would be perfect for intimate family celebrations such as birthdays, christenings and wedding anniversaries as well as kids parties and even weddings! Our experienced events team could make any occasion extra special for you.
Other Information

We are open daily from 10am for coffees and light breakfasts and 12pm - 9.30pm for food. We are open all year except Christmas Day and can cater for all age ranges. Can be accessed easily from town by bus (the 11 or 15 will drop you right outside) or just a short drive from the Bypass. We also have free Wifi.
