We offer self-catering holidays with a difference on an exclusive, eco-sensitive wild-glamping site. All our hand-crafted yurts are individually sited within an attractive woodland setting to provide you with unrivalled levels of privacy and tranquillity, and quality modern facilities at the Hub ensure you will have an exceptionally comfortable stay with us. Each yurt is equipped with a twin hob gas burner for cooking, plus wood burning stove for heating. Our hand-crafted yurts are modelled on original designs from Central Asia where the sturdy structures have been used for thousands of years by nomadic people. Durable waterproof canvas replaces the traditional felt outer shell to take account of Scotland’s climate, but they retain a snug and cosy feel, especially when the wood burning stove is lit. Our yurts also have windows to allow you to enjoy natural light and the beautiful surroundings.
Black Isle Yurts is located between the historic Black Isle villages of Cromarty and Fortrose/Rosemarkie, approximately 30mins drive (17miles) north of Inverness, the capital city of the Highlands of Scotland.
