Historylinks is a five star attraction featuring 7000 years of Dornoch's turbulent past. Learn about the treachery and violence of the Picts and Vikings, feuding clans and the shameful burning of Scotland's last condemed witch. See a reconstruction of the Golf Professional's workshop where the famous Golf Course architect, Donald Ross honed his skills. Find out about Andrew Carnegie, the world's richest man who lived in Skibo Castle. Look at our original Colour Sergeant's uniform of The First Sutherland Volunteers and discover it's history. There is also a choice of three films to watch in the museum, Sutherland in 1950, Links through Dornoch's History and The Dornoch Light Railway. Children have lots of fun too with quizzes, dressing up and colouring. In association with Historylinks is the town trail guide which takes you on a journey to discover Dornoch's heritage.
