Varis is a 4 star spacious three bedroomed bungalow (sleeps 6 in comfort). It is ideally located for a varied holiday being just 4 miles from the Skye Bridge and ready access to Plockton, Eilean Donan Castle and direct access to a network of cycling and walking trails - and drying facilities so you can be ready for the next day out!
The house has three bedrooms which can be configured as two (super king) doubles and a twin or one double and two twins. There are two sitting rooms; the main sitting dining room has the view over Kylerhea and a wood burning stove in the larger room. The TV and WiFi live in a smaller TV room/snug. We have tried to ensure the kitchen has everything you need to take advantage of the great local produce. There is a bathroom and a shower room. The utilty room with washing machine and tumble dryer has loads of drying space.
Sitting above the main A87 road, Varis has lovely views across Lochalsh and Kylerhea to Skye and Glenelg and we provide a telescope in the large sitting room to help you take full advantage.
The garage provides secure storage for equipment such as bikes or kayaks. The enclosed garden and access to a traffic and livestock free network of paths in the hills behind the house makes Varis ideal for dogs and active children.
Lets Easter to October are weekly, Saturday to Saturday. Off season, our minimum let is 3 days with prices starting from £350 and we can be flexible about start/end days.
We accept pets with a £25 charge per dog per stay (assistance dogs are of course exempt from this charge)
