Blackwaterfoot Lodge was built in 1899 as a Temperance Hotel. It retains much of its Victorian character in the large rooms and high ceilings. The Residents' Lounge provides a comfortable retreat with an open fire when the weather warrants it. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished, most have en-suite bathrooms; all have colour TV and tea/coffee making kit. There’s also a real fire in the bar where cask-conditioned ale and a good selection of single malt whiskies are available.
The Lodge is situated 50 yards from Blackwaterfoot’s picturesque harbour and a ten minute stroll from the sandy beach below the unique 12 hole golf Shiskine links golf course. A warm welcome awaits guests, as does comfortable, no-smoking, en-suite accommodation.
Our acclaimed Black Grouse Restaurant provides fine dining and traditional menus with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients cooked to accentuate taste.
