Grantown on Spey is set in the Cairngorm National Park and has so much to offer. Fishing, golfing, hill walking, cycling, ornithology, the Whiskey trail, castles, outdoor pursuits of all types. It is a great base for exploring the Highlands, Inverness, Loch Ness, Ft William, even Royal Deeside and the Isle of Skye can easily be reached.
Failte and Kangei are 2 well presented comfortable self catering cottages. They are within a 5 minute walk of the shops, restaurants and pubs of Grantown on Spey. Together they hold 9/10 people. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms. Both have a double room and while Kangei has a twin room with en suite Failte has a triple room,(bunks and a single). Both bedrooms are on the 1st floor in Failte whereas the twin room in Kangei is on the ground floor. Bed linen and towels are included
Electric is on a key meter so you simply pay for your electric as you use it. This is to ensure you simply pay for what you use rather than charging you a higher base price to cover people leaving the heat on 24/7
A cot and high chair are available if requested at booking.
TV/DVD player and a library of DVDs, reading books and games are supplied.
Both cottages are non smoking.
Multifuel stove in each cottage in addition to night storage heaters.

Off street parking to the front of the house.
Garden
The town is a few minutes walk from the cottage and provides interesting shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. There is a golf course, tennis courts and a children's playground.
A 2 minute walk from the cottage takes you to the park from where you can walk to the woods, the mountain bike trail and the Spey river. Bicycles can be hired in the town.
Horse riding or quad biking is there for those who prefer someone else to do the exercise!
There is a fishery and clay pigeon shooting nearby.
Rooms & Rates
Each cottage is available to rent singly or together throughout the year.
A £100 deposit is taken at time of booking with the balance payable no later than 6 weeks before the start of the rental period. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Sterling and Euros accepted.

Kangei Failte
2 bedrooms, double and a twin (with en suite), 2 bedrooms, a double and a triple (single and bunk beds)
(fold down bed available for 5th person,£10 extra).
Cot available.

Prices from £270-£500/week​, includes linen, apart from cot.
Short breaks from £80/night, minimum 2 nights.
Weekend breaks or Winter longer breaks possible, price negotiable.
