Thyme at Errichel Restaurant - We pride ourselves on rearing & sourcing quality local ingredients which are then prepared by Chef Patron Paul Newman & his team to showcase the best in Scottish products with flavours and influences from around the world.
All our Pork & Beef is reared here on Errichel Farm using the highest welfare standards to produce healthy happy animals. We breed Rare Breed Shetland Cattle & Rare Breed Large Black Pork; both ideal for life on a hill farm.
Chef / Patron Paul Newman and the team at Errichel will be delighted to help make your Special Occasion one to remember. .
We can cater for most types of occasion & receptions and offer various bespoke options. Our Front of House Manager is available to assist you with your menu selection, choice of wine, seating arrangements, flowers, toasts and etiquette along with any other special requirements you may have to make your day truly memorable.
We offer a bespoke service to suit your needs and welcome any suggestions or requests that you may have.
Your Special Occasion at Errichel can be as grand or intimate as you wish. We can accommodate from 10 guests to as many as 120.
Ideally situated in the heart of Perthshire on the slopes of the Tay Valley with uninterrupted view and a tranquil setting.
With easy access to local attractions, amenities, airports (Edinburgh – Glasgow).

We pride ourselves on rearing & sourcing quality local ingredients which are then prepared by Chef Patron Paul Newman & his team to showcase the best in Scottish products with flavours and influences from around the world.
All our Pork & Beef is reared here on Errichel Farm using the highest welfare standards to produce healthy happy animals. We breed Rare Breed Shetland Cattle & Rare Breed Large Black Pork; both ideal for life on a hill farm.
All our eggs are collected from our own flock of Chicken & Ducks and when they are off-lay we purchase from local Perthshire based supplier Linda Chisholm.
Our Water Buffalo Steaks are sourced from Puddledub Farm just over the border into Fife. The majority of our Seafood is landed at either Oban, Wester Ross or Loch Fynne and always from sustainable sources.
We only use Stornoway Black Pudding and all our Venison is from our own estate.
Salad Leaves are farmed by Gregg Menzies at Balhomais Farm, Dull, By Aberfeldy. Fresh Berries are from Mains of Murthly Soft Fruits in Aberfeldy. Cylindra Beetroot from Gordon Caldwell in Ayreshire. This gives our fabulous Beetroot Marinated Salmon it’s unique taste.
Herbs are sourced from ScotHerbs, Longforgan, Perthshire. We are lucky enough to get our Set Honey from Margaret Thomas in Aberfeldy.
We also offer a selection of fabulous Artisan Scottish Regional Cheese served with carefully selected Local & Scottish accompaniments.
Our Chutneys, Jams & Preserves are all made in-house as well as all our home-baking.
Chef Patron Paul Newman & his team are passionate about local & Regional ingredients and trust that you will enjoy chatting with us and each other about the fabulous range of ingredients we have on offer.

We have Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery on our doorstep producing Golden, Honey toned Single Malt Whisky.
Strathbrann Brewery is a stones throw away; father and son team Martin & Mark Proctor produce fabulous Beer.
The Rookery, River Ericht, in Blairgowrie produces Mead using local ingredients and Strathearn Gin produced in Methven is always popular. Needless to say we have produce from all these local suppliers in our very well stocked bar.
Scottish Dark Matters Spiced Rum and Perthshire Ogilvy Vodka also feature in our local range of Spirits.
With a great range of Gins from Scotland & further afield complementing our Whisky, Liqueur and Spirit range.
We have a lovely Cocktail list with old favourites sitting alongside Errichel Own Recipes using base cordials & mixes prepared here by our Front of House Team.
Our Wine list features different wine producing areas and working with 3 wine suppliers you’re sure to see some familiar favourites next to delicious wines you may not have tried before; with many of our wines available by the glass.
